A bigass powercaching trail in progress

Sooooooo after doing some caching with Hosford a few weekends ago, I came up with a good spot to create a serious “power trail” of caches. A power trail is a trail or area where caches can be found very frequently along the same road or trail. The Dobson Trail for example has literally dozens of caches right off the main trail so if you hike it, you can cache it. I went down to Bangor with another cacher to do another power trail which could be done by car. They are nice for getting your numbers up.

I had an idea and know of a good spot where I could hide around 100 caches and they all be accessible via car. I have started stock-piling my containers and plan to get the caches ready over the winter. Come spring, I’ll go on a mass hiding spree and this new power trail will open up. It will be kind of nice to have a good trail of caches that can be accessed by car. Should be cool.

In other news, we emptied the storage container down at the cottage today. We have officially moved all of our stuff into the cottage and began arranging it. There’s still work left to be done but now it feels more like a real cottage. Some….uncomfortable conversation went on today with mom but we got through it and hopefully things will work out as we want them to. I have to say that I am glad we are finally near the end of this because it has not been a pleasant experience. Plus, I really think Wil Smith was right when he said “Parents just don’t understand”. No matter how hard I tried to explain myself to mom, she just didn’t get it. That’s ok though cuz we got through it and I’ll find a way to deal.
