Cache Up NB Lanyards Now Available

It was brought up on our podcast this month, and today I am finally able to announce that our official Cache Up NB lanyards are now available for order.

As you can see from the image here, they are a standard lanyard used for holding your GPS around your neck. They come with a standard “claw” attachment” which does fit a stock carabiner as you can see from the photo. The lanyard itself is a modified version of the “header” image you see on our website and in our cache listings. They are VERY durable and strong and they look really nice.

So you’re probably wondering where, when, and how you can get your hands on one. The lanyards will go on sale at the Fundy National Park geocaching event (GC49HP6) at a special event only rate of $6 each. We will also have them at the Fundy Morning Breakfast geocaching event (GC49Q4N) for the same price.

Once the Fundy weekend is over, the price of the lanyards will go up to $7 and will be available from us directly, or through Cachemporium. If you need to have the item shipped to your location, we will have to charge a small shipping fee to cover the postage costs. Given the size of the lanyard, the shipping cost should be minimal.

All of the profit from the sales of these lanyards will go back into Cache Up NB to help pay for a geocoin to be released later in the year. Any other additional money we make on it, or any other merchandise we produce, will go back into Cache Up NB activities, prizes, and the further development of our programs. We do not take a “cut” of the profit for ourselves. All money goes back into geocaching in New Brunswick. If you support Cache Up NB and geocaching in our province, we would really appreciate your support in picking one of these up.

These lanyards are in limited quantities so you’re going to want to get your name in for one now. For anyone who wants to reserve one for themselves, please post a comment on this post and indicate how many you want to reserve and whether or not you can pick yours up at Fundy. We will be accepting cash as well as Visa & MasterCard at the Fundy events.

Be aware that you need to BE at the Fundy events to collect lanyards you have reserved if you want the special event pricing. If you cannot make it but want one anyway, use the information below to obtain your lanyard but you will have to pay the extra dollar.
