4 Guys In A Car For 13 Days

Posted by on July 9, 2017

We don’t often report news anymore, but since this is a mini-project of Cache Up NB, we’re making an exception.

Cache Up NB is proud to announce the launch of the “4 Guys In A Car” website.

For those who haven’t heard, Rev Slippery, Paulie, Markirene and Zor are heading out on a road trip across the United States. On September 3rd, the four geocachers will leave Moncton, NB, Canada and head to Portland, ME. The following morning, they will depart on a 13 day journey which will take them across all 48 contiguous states.

The trip is broken up into multiple “legs” and consists of a minimum layover period of 6hrs after each leg. Information about the actual trip itself can be found on their website.

During their trip, all four geocachers will be posting tweets, images, videos and even live streamed content while on the road through the United States. Using a combination of technology Cache Up NB developed, and some new location based technology, users will be able to track their location in near-realtime, as well as see all of the geocaches they have logged while on their journey.

Cache Up NB is also hosting an event in Las Vegas while the 4 Guys are in town. Las Vegas is the longest of the layovers (2.5 days) and is right around the halfway mark of the trip.

So, if you’re curious about the trip, and would like to keep tabs on what the 4 Guys are doing while on the road, head on over to their site and check out all it has to offer.
