Yesterday afternoon was an amazing afternoon. The car stereo mod is 95% done. A HUGE thanks goes out to Chris for the cutting and sawwing of the case. It’s not something I think I would have been able to pull off. But thanks to a hacksaw, and some other interesting tools, the deck was mounted quite nicely, and looks fantastic. The wiring is also done and plugs directly into the sound card with no problems. It’s AWESOME!
The only thing left is to do a little tidying up around the edges of the faceplate as the hole was a bit big. I figure the boys down in maintenance oughtta be able to find me something to make her look nice and neat. I also have to blast the case clean because we had filings and so forth all over the place and I don’t wanna fire the computer up with that stuff everywhere. That would be VERY bad!
This morning at work is pretty busy, which is good. I like being busy. So speaking of being busy, I better go be busy!
