Talk about an insanely and active weekend. Lots went on.
Friday night was the CompuCollege graduation which was a nice ceremony held at Moncton High. I finally figured out who it was that was talking to me at the school. She seemed to know who I was but I sure didn’t know her. Anyway, I did my little presentation thing but didn’t stick around afterwards as I didn’t really feel like being there. I then headed up to work to do a few minor things that needed to be done and then headed home to veg out and relax. It was nice.
Saturday I got up and went out to Kent’s to have my lunch. Their sausages kick ass! I picked up some desert’s for Tamara’s party then headed out for a little drive. I then went to Tamara’s to do some serious pumpkin carving. Between me and her, we gutted three pumpkins, and carved two. They came out pretty good too I must say.
The party went over very well. We played a game called “Spoons” which involved some rather violent actions in an attempt to grab some spoons after laying down some cards. Talk about a lot of fun though. It was very cool.
Yesterday was not cool though. I woke up and my jaw was sore and then I noticed my throat was sore and I had this giant pain under my neck. So, being a little paranoid, I dragged my ass down to the ER and the doctor told me he thought it was a viral infection that was going around. He did a throat swab and sent me on my way. I proceeded to pump myself full of cold/flu meds and cough drops to try and sooth things. It helped.
I watched part of the movie Clockstoppers last night (joy oh bliss) and then went to bed early. It was quite an eventful weekend and I’m still not feeling too shit hot. In fact, I was pretty sure I was gonna call in sick today but I fought it and made it in to do the deed. Regardless, Halloween is in 4 days and I can’t wait to wear my costume to work! Tally HO!
