This is a Friday that I have seriously been waiting for. Not because I have huge plans or anything for the weekend, but just because it’s been a long week. Work has been extra slow these past few days. In fact, yesterday was so slow, I cleaned my office. CLEANED MY OFFICE!!! It was like 3:30 and I had nothing to do, again, so I figured I’d clean up. That took a whole whopping 5 minutes. I’m glad I’ve got more stuff going on with this magazine thing now because if it’s slow at work, I can at least work on that.
I have my interview with Toulouse Cruise tonite which will be nice. That’s one thing I have to work on today is a set of questions. It’s been a long time since I did any interviews but I do remember how to go about doing up an interview. It will feel strange at first but I’m pretty excited.
There’s a show at the Paramount on Sunday night. I may have to do my best to haul my ass down there and see some of these bands. The big act, DOA, is a long-time running punk act currently on tour. I’ve never seen them before but heard all about ’em. I may have to go check it out.
The pits of fire have subsided, or so I thought. Yesterday they weren’t bothering me at all but now this morning, they seem to be worse than yesterday. Looks like I’m back to the drawing board on that. Damn, this itches!
