The loan for the surgery came through last night so I am now $3700 richer. Unfortunately, I’m not able to go out and spend the bulk of that. I can spend a bit of it so I do have some mad money, but I can’t go out and and go nuts with a pile of cash. Sucks too! But, it’s worth it. 24 days and the surgeon will slice and dice on my eyes. Yummy!
I have this sinking feeling that it’s going to be extra slow today at work. It’s 8:13 and I can already feel how lame it will be today. I should count my blessings as when all hell breaks loose, it really goes nuts here. I prefer being busy though. Just not to the point where I’m tearing my hair out. I can’t afford to lose much more!
I’ve been doing my regular visits to Weirdlinks.Com lately, but I have to say that I’m disappointed with his new format. He’s decided to go blog style with his posts and I’m sure he’s happy with it, but I’m not. Too much drivel for links, and not enough postings per page. But, it’s his site so I shouldn’t bitch about it! Oh well.
I forgot to mention this last week. I had a visit here at work from my ex-brother-in-law. I mentioned that I saw him driving in his car. Well, he dropped me an email and wanted to come visit me here at work, which he did which was cool. I got the latest news from him and my former mother-in-law. Recently learned a few things about the ex. Nothing worth reporting, but I’m glad to see that Jason & his mom are still doing good.
Time to take the long walk down to the cafeteria, and get me some orange juice. The damn Coke machine won’t take my money which is probably a good thing since I’ve cut way back on my consumption of such things. If I get bored enough, I may post more later. Maybe a rant today…
