It’s a yucky morning outside! What a way to start the week. At least I can say that the weekend was alright. I use the term alright on purpose since I was sort of in a blah mood for most of the weekend. It’s been an off week unfortunately but this is a new week and for not feeling too chipper this morning, I’m doing better. Plus, thanks to the awesome Tamara, I feel a lot better. Thanks beautiful!
I did some experimenting with DVD burning over the weekend and discovered that contrary to what mom’s DVD player says, it WILL read DVD-RW discs which is awesome. I can now test out my discs on her system to see how they turn out. I also determined that the software that comes with the burner blows. In fact, most of the software out there blows. I did however come across Adobe Encore DVD which seems to work VERY nice. I have a test project I am working on and hopefully it will come out ok. It doesn’t let me merge clips like Nero but it has a LOT more options. Way cool!
I also bought a 450w power supply for the box so I am hoping to install that this week so I can get that tape deck mod up and running for good. All this work will pay off finally!
Did another interview over the weekend so now I have 2 more to transcribe. I wish there was an easier way of doing this but oh well. It’s a little annoying going through that process but it works out in the end. RDO did a few reviews for me and he’s got an interview as well coming up. Rock on!
