Had a birthday supper at Tamara’s brothers place last night. Chowed down on part of the biggest Subway sub I have ever seen. A 6 footer. Nice one too. Met a chunk of Tamara’s family which was all cool. Nice low key evening. Twas good.
Received a birthday card from the ex’s grandparents. That kind of hit home. I don’t miss being in that marriage but I do miss the family so getting that card was incredibly sweet, but sad at the same time. Such is life I guess.
So tomorrow I turn 30 years old. That means that I have been on this earth for 3 decades. What have I seen and experienced in that time? A whole lot more than I ever expected. I won’t be able to post anything after my surgery as I am not permitted to use a computer, but I might get Tamara to post it for me anyway. I’m sure I’ll need to vent my real thoughts on turning this age. Dunno if it will bug me or not but it will an interesting day.
Because today is the last day of the week for me, you know damn well it’s going to go insanely slow. I wish there was something big I could work on to pass the time, but I’ve already finished the bulk of my projects so I guess today will be a filler day. I might post more later. I’ll see…
