Yup! That means that after tomorrow, I’m off til next Monday. And even better, THURSDAY IS CHRISTMAS!!!
I got all my gifts wrapped and only need to pick up a few stocking stuffers. Thankfully that’s done because I know the stores are going to be insane between now and Christmas. I’m glad I only have a few small things to pick up.
Went to see The Monoxides play on Friday night. It was cool to see the boys in action again. They sound good as always. I also caught their opening act, The Heelwalkers. Cool band from Halifax. I’ll have a live review posted later today (on VAJ). I also did a pile of promotion work for the magazine by sticking flyers up all over the place. I still have more to do but at least I got a start on it.
Ran into my ex-grandmother-in-law. That was a bit weird but cool at the same time. Me and Tamara went to Mcginnis Landing for brunch on Sunday which was way cool. Talk about a pile of food. WOW! Only bitch was, I lost my cell phone in the process. After playing some kickass air hockey, my phone went missing so now I’m trying to hunt it down before having to get it replaced. It sucks, but such is life eh?
I also caught up on my episodes of South Park. I watched 4 of them on the weekend and I must say, Matt & Trey are getting a hell of a lot smarter with their real messages they put across on those characters. Very interesting and very profound. Unusual for such a nasty show.
Anyway, I wanna get that review written and my morning news read!
