*yawn* Can I go back to bed?
So, a guy at work here was perusing through my archives and found links about the MAME cabinet, which I have since removed because the project is on hold. I would like to make a formal thanks to Dave for doing all the CAD work for the cabinet! For any of you who remember it, it was an arcade cabinet machine that would play all sorts of old classic games. I haven’t abandoned the project. Because of me not having my own home, and a real place to build it, I decided to put it on hold for now until I can do something solid. I’m still pondering buying the wood to build the control panel as it would only be one sheet, and relatively easy to construct. I just need to really consider how everything will fit together, and if I want to build it so the panel can actually be opened up, if there ends up being a problem.
How about this cold eh folks? It’s been damn nasty between yesterday and today. This is what winter really is. We always get a bit of a cold snap in January so it’s nice to see that it finally hit so it can be gone and Spring can get a little closer. I’m seriously considering one of those Cuba trips I keep hearing about!
