If you don’t know who Bob Keeshan is, then I’m sure you know who Captain Kangaroo is. I read today in CNN that Captain Kangaroo passed away. That’s too bad. I remember watching that show as a kid and loving it. Frig sakes, Mr. Rogers (who sucked anyway), Captain Kangaroo, and Mr. Dressup are all gone. Anyone know if The Friendly Giant is still around or did he buy it too?
As with all things, it’s a new day and I gotta say, I had a hell of a good sleep last night. I’m pretty awake and feeling good. I think it’s due to going to bed with my socks on. Lemme explain. Mom read this article in one of her magazines that said if you sleep with your socks on, you’ll have a better night’s sleep, and you’ll stay warmer. I thought it was ridiculous, but surprisingly enough, it was actually true. So I think I’ll wear my socks to bed for the rest of the week and see if it sticks.
Me and my love for reality TV was annoyed at the fact that last night’s episode of Average Joe was obviously rigged. They introduced the so-called “hunks” and so the regular guys didn’t stand much of a chance when it came to any kind of athletic competition. They sucked hard. I dunno if it’s me, but that group of “hunks” are a bunch of arrogant pricks. But of course, I’m sure Larissa (the woman) will pick some hot guy because as I said before, supermodel type girls don’t go for average guys. It just doesn’t happen. I feel for the Joe’s
I’m also anxiously awaiting the start of the new Survivor. It starts Sunday and it’s going to kick ass! We got a pool going here at work and I got Ethan. Although he’s a good player, I suspect that the players who won Survivor already will have less of a chance at winning. Anyway, Sunday should be good!
