As I wanted to, I sat around and did absolutely nothing all day. The only constructive thing I did was take the bundle of boxes out of the car and bring them into the house. I don’t know if I’ll do any packing tonite but maybe. I think I may go for a drive in a little bit.
I did however manage to find something on the net that may not matter to any of you, but it’s a HUGE deal to me. My grandfather passed away in September of 2001 and one of my favorite stories he would tell was of Archibals Holebroke. He’d recite this story from memory and everyone around would laugh their ass off while he told the story. Well, no one else knows how to say it, and there’s a tape somewhere of him doing it but I always wished I could remember it so I could pass it along later. Well, with a stroke of luck, I did a search on Google and found this page which shows the exact story. Read how Archibalas spells and pronounces his name. It may not make you laugh, but it made me laugh big time as I remembered my grandfather.
Regardless, move date is closing. I need to get my ass in gear and do something but I think I’ll wait. Or not. Who knows. It’s a shitty night for TV and tomorrow will be the same so maybe I should take advantage of this and pack the bulk of my crap now instead of later. Poor Tamara has an entire apartment to pack. Anyone feel like helping? Heh. We’ll get everything in order in time. I’m sure. Anyways, nature calls, so I’m outtie!
