Had the parentals over last night for supper which was cool. Grandma saw the house for the first time. She seemed to like it. They enjoyed supper and had a little chat and stuff. We went back to Tamara’s apartment to check on a little Vibe box and then visited her brother for a bit. By the time we got home, we were starting to get tired.
It’s been a LONG time since I had Vibe so I was at a bit of a loss to understand their new setup but no more special hookups or anything. All I had to do was plug the DSL modem in, put the microfilters they provided on the phones, set XP up for connecting, and voila! We now have internet. I need to invest in a new wireless router and I have the one I want picked out but it will have to wait as I have more pressing things to put my money on right now. Tamara can use my PC when she needs the net.
Also tried out the dishwasher at the house for the first time. That baybee works some nice. Je suis very happy. Although I’ll be the first to admit I probably won’t use it much as it’s only me & Tamara so the amount of dishes we make is very little but who knows.
I sent out an email to all of my friends to let you know that my phone number has changed. Some of you may have my email sent to your junk mail folder so be aware of that.
