Got home last night and Tamara left me a message saying she wouldn’t be home til 9ish and that we could start putting the new entertainment center together when she got home. Well I figured so I had nothing on the agenda for that night, why not take a stab at it myself. Sure enough, it was easier than hell to put together and after moving a few things, we now have our TV, VCR, DVD player, chairs and coffee table all set up downstairs. It doesn’t look too bad but I may change a few things. One things for sure, we gotta get some stuff on the walls and warm the place up. CRAP it’s cold down there!
I’m hoping to spend a large portion of the weekend working on my computer room. I want to get Tamara’s computer set up and I want to get a lot of the junk out of there and make some room. I’m not totally sure what I’m going to have in there but I’m sure as I go along I’ll figure it out.
The guy from Bell will be at the house tonite to hook the dish up. This will be a good thing. I need more channels. When I hooked the entertainment center up, I plugged the cable from the wall in and sure enough we had Rogers cable. Looks like they never bothered to disconnect it off the pole. Anyway, that was enough to watch Survivor last night.
I have Friday afternoon off work which will be nice. It’s been a surpringsly slow week. Monday was hectic but the rest has been pretty laid back. Seems kind of weird for it to be so slow when I was gone for a week but I guess that means I’ve got things running pretty smoothly here. Anyways, I’m off again..
