I finally got my ass in gear and got some work on my computer room done this weekend. I managed to get both computers hooked up to the net and got my speakers mounted on the wall. Along with that, I got a few decorations up thus far, and a really cool new light fixture mounted on the wall. It’s nice to see that the room is starting to take shape.
Had a pretty good weekend. Had some of Tamara’s family over yesterday which was cool. Had a big meal and chowed down some good food. We also did some major shopping at Costco which is a good and bad thing. Good cuz we got a bunch of good stuff but bad cuz it hurts the pocket book. We can’t go in there very often or we’ll end up in the poor house.
Tamara leaves for Toronto on Friday and won’t be back til next week so I’ll be on my own for a few days. It will feel a little surreal but it will be kind of cool as well. First time in a long time that I’ll be in my own place with no one else around.
Got a bit of a headache this morning but as soon as I pump some Coke into me, I’ll be in good shape, I hope. Today’s a freebie lunch here at work so it will probably be a long day not leaving the place. I may need to make a quick run to the store just to get out of the plant for a few mins.
