The weekend was rather uneventful now that I think back on it. For a 3 day weekend, there wasn’t much that happened. I managed to get the home theatre sound system hooked up to the DVD player and I must say, it sounds pretty kick ass! I’m very impressed. Did a little work around the house, downloaded a crapload of 80’s tunes yesterday, and managed to lose our first fish.
See, I had bought some Yellow Labids which are actually African Cichlids. Those kinds of fish can only be in tanks of other Cichlids because they are extremely aggressive. This was discovered when the tails of a bunch of our other fish were being eaten by the Labids. So we took them out, but unfortunately, one of our Neon Tetras had too juch of his tail eaten and he did not survive. He did pretty good for awhile but he just couldn’t hang on. Tamara did buy a Betta fish for her vase which does look very cool.
We also hauled the futon from Mom’s along with the rest of my computer stuff. Yes, I do believe I rival Tamara in having a LOT of stuff now. I managed to go through a BIG pile of it while I was home on Saturday and filtered out all of the old computer stuff that I’m gonna sell on Ebay. Now it’s just a matter of buying some packing materials, and starting the auction process.
