So today I went to check out one of my daily sites to discover that Paul Firlotte has moved to Ottaw with his girlfriend. His site will be no more. It’s a shame his site will be no more as it was always a good spot for a humourous tale from the man. Oh well. My best wishes to him and Cynthia.
Got the new computer up and running yesterday. My first time working with a P4 system so I had some issues with power but got it all worked out. She booted fine and all my drives are back in working order and on top of that, I got the cup holder mounted and she looks some sweet! Now it’s just a matter of reinstalling a pile of apps, which isn’t that big a deal. Just time consuming.
Tamara made her appointment to have her eyes checked to see if she qualifies for Lasik surgery. Apparently she has severe astigmatism so there’s some question as to whether or not she’ll be able to have it done or not. I’ve already given her my spiel about how much I loved the surgery but she’s gotta find out if she can even have it done first. The only thing for her is that she wears contacts most of the time so she’ll have to wear glasses for a week before the tests so that’ll be weird for her. She’ll be fine!
I’m looking outside and right now it looks so nice out, except for the fact that the wind is way up. I hope this means now that Winter really is over. I’ll settle for rain and wind just not more damn snow. BLAH!
