It’s another lovely day in Moncton. The April rain is starting to depress me. All the rain and boring weather is just downright well boring and dreary. I really think the weather has an affect on your mind and body whether people want to admit it or not.
I went to this Microsoft developers user group meeting last night. Tamara told me about it and said that some of the folks from her place go there so I figured I’d check it out. It was kind of a cool. A room full of programmers talking about code and computers and stuff. Kind of neat. Some of what went on there was a bit beyond what I work on but it was still neat to see something like that existing in Moncton. Reminds me of the old M.U.G. days back in high school. It really made me think about perhaps starting something like that up again. For those of you who don’t know, MUG was a local computer group that met once a month to talk geek stuff. It was a lot of fun if you can imagine that. Regardless, I did walk away with a door prize which was cool.
So, in respect to that, I kind of got thinking about a lot of things and I think I’m gonna write a rant today regarding life, and the choices you make. It’ll be a good write-up so stay tuned.
