What a day yesterday. Lots of work and lots of non-work. I got home, found out that Tamara wouldn’t be home until after 9 due to the Royal Bank computer problem that’s been in the news, so I made supper (bad chicken pizza) and packed up all of my auction stuff. I now have 13 boxes sitting in my living room just waiting for someone to buy them. I’m going to see if I can get the auctions put up today or tomorrow but it’s gonna happen soon.
I also sat down and watched the last audition episode of Canadian Idol last night and there were a few doozey’s but not many. There are some really kickass performers this year. I was hoping to see a lot more of the bad singers but alas, they must be having a special for them. I hope!
The flames won game 5 last night and are one win away from the cup. I’m not a follower of hockey very often but I may sit down and watch the game on Saturday night, hoping the boys can bring the cup home!
I have an appointment with my lawyer on Monday afternoon to sign the last part of my divorce papers. They will then get filed, processed by a judge, and all should be good from there. I’m not looking forward to footing the bill for it but it will be nice to have that all behind me.
Oh! I almost forgot! I’m going back to NYC! Or at least that’s the plan. I asked Tamara and she asked her friend Tammy & Joe if they wanted to go with us, and as it stands now, she said they wanted to. The plan is to go down for the New Brunswick Day weekend in August. We’re going to take Friday off and leave that day early in the morning, and arrive down in NY that evening. We’ll spend the weekend there and head back home on Monday. It’s a bit of a short trip but there’s plenty to do and I always try to make one trip there every year so this will be enough for me. I’m way excited!
We haven’t been doing much biking this week due to the weather. I almost went out last night but the rain started to come down really hard and I decided it was in my best interests to stay dry in the house. I managed to finish part 1 of Tammy’s wedding video and did another test which came out fine. Now I have to work on the rehersal footage which shouldn’t be too bad. There’s less than an hour of footage and a lot of it is repeated stuff so I’ll have to see what’s good and what’s not.
