Well thanks to me not paying attention to the turbo listing utility I used to relist my auctions, it posted everything as shipping being free in the United States, which means I have to pay the shipping bill, and hence I lose out the cash I got in the auction. Oh well. It was my fault and at least it means I am getting rid of more of my old junk. Once I get rid of it all, I’ll pay my eBay fees and be done again for awhile.
Mowed the lawn last night. That was fun. That damn mower has got a seriouos vibrating thing going on. Very odd. But the lawn looks a hell of a lot better. Tamara found a hornet’s nest under one of our chairs which means we gotta get rid of it. The last thing we want is those things hanging out in our back yard. I also managed to make use of the bigass super soaker I have and nailed Tamara good. Twice. Ahhhh that was fun. She never saw it coming, sort of.
My vacation days are all booked. I have July 8th & 9th off. I’m taking those days off since Tamara is having her eye surgery on the 8th and I wanted to be around to help her out during those first few days. She knows what I went through and she was there for me so now I can return the favor. I also booked August 3rd & 4th off for our NYC trip. That will make it real nice. I’m glad I was able to get the time off as I had already booked my vacation but the boss is good about that kind of thing.
I totally forgot about the fact that next week is a short week. Thursday is Canada Day which means it’s a stat holiday and I have it off. An extra day to sleep in! Wooo hooo! I like those kinds of days. I wanted to go home last night and snooze but alas it was not meant to be as work called me and I had some stuff to do for them and then I remembered about having to mow the lawn. These are the things that happen. Oh well. Maybe today will be better.
