Yesterday saw me, Tamara, and her friend Tammy and her husband Joe, walking into Empire Theatres to watch Spidey kick some ass. I gotta say, I was not disappointed. In fact, I think in some ways I liked it better than the original simply because Kirsten Dunst wasn’t as annoying in this film as she was in the first. We sat and watched the original Saturday night to get us ready for the first one and I did find MJ incredibly annoying so I was definitely glad to see that she was better in part 2. Will there be a part 3? If box offices scores are any indication, yup. As long as they keep the same director, I’ll be happy seeing Spidey kick more ass in a few years from now.
The weekend also saw me and Tamara spot a very nice 55 gallon aquarium at WalMart and the price was just right but we haven’t gone to get it yet. Talked about it a lot but no go yet. I suspect that by October, it will be ours.
I also installed Starcraft again over the weekend, simply because I wanted to play something good and enjoy it. I also found time to sample all of the video footage from the Rounded Edges reunion jam onto my PC. I really gotta get that stuff put on disc and VHS for the boys. It’s all good.
The only other news is that this is a 3 day work week for me and Tamara has her surgery on Thursday so it will be nice to see her go through what I did over 6 months ago. She’ll love it tho! I’m off.
