Wow!

Wow! Talk about lots to do and no time to do it. I haven’t had a chance to post a real update for a few days so I figure it’s time to do just that.

Tamara had her surgery on Thursday and although she was nervous, she came out fine. They had a little bit of trouble with one eye that left her with a small bruise (like mine) but she came through it great. She got a lot of rest over the last few days, and just like me, went a little nuts with not being able to do much. She’s back to work today, driving again, and she’s on the road to recovery. YAY!

Aquired a major problem with our 20 gallon fish tank. We have some major algae issues that we need to work out. It looks like we may not be able to put the new tank (ya, we bought a 55’er) in the living room because of the sunlight. I was really pissed about this at first but have since gotten over it. We’ll find a nice spot for it and it will be nice to move the fish into a bigger home.

Met Tamara’s former father-in-law this weekend. That was not as weird as I would have expected but still a little odd.

I also did some major work on both my old home movies that I had sampled months ago, and some Rounded Edges stuff. I sampled all of the video shoot footage from 1994 and created a 10 minute “Birth Of A Legend” story about Rounded Edges. I haven’t watched the thing in it’s entirety yet but I think it came out damn good. I have to get a copy of that to the boys.

Three weeksn until NYC baybee! I can’t wait. Time is going to go by fast too because I’ve got some new projects at work to really hammer away at and I think it’s going to be good. Plus, I get a bonus cheque this week so that is also a good thing.

Another good thing, yesterday became the official date of my divorce. The papers from the judge indicated that on July 11th, I would be legally divorced. Doesn’t change a whole lot for me since I was already divorced in my head but it is nice to know that the legal part of it is all done.

On that note, I’m going to go do some more work and I am really hoping to add a pile of pictures to this site this week. I haven’t added much in a long time so I figured it’s about time I do that. See ya!
