What a weekend it was.
First off, we got our new 55gallon fish tank set up and man does it looks some sweet. We even got some fish in there and man they seem some happy about having all of the new room. Now we just need to get some kickass decorations for it and it will be all set. I hope to have pictures of it soon.
We also had our first beach excursion of the summer this weekend. We went down to Parlee and enjoyed the water. Man it was nice. It was brutual getting into the water but once you were in, it was great. I taught Tamara how to find sand dollars and we got a whole pile of them, plus a few shells that I think we’ll stick in the new tank. Tamara got a bad sunburn but I think she’ll be ok. We also had a kickass feast of scallops since it was mom’s birthday on Friday. Man that went down good.
Vacation time is drawing nearer and I tell you, I’m getting psyched. I really want to get this week and next over with. I know next week will be longer, but that’s because I will be even more anxious. Tamara’s getting a little excited too. We are really hoping we have good weather for the trip as we do not want to spend the whole time in the rain. I hope like hell it stays good but even if it does rain, we’ll find a way to deal with it.
