So…….

It’s 9am and I’ve already written a review for Tormented’s CD & DVD this morning and have only had two visitors to my office and haven’t even gone out to the cafeteria to buy a Coke yet. Seeing as I have no major plans today, I suspect the day is going to crawl by. 7 hours to go. Fun city!

I think tonite is going to be the start of getting things ready for our trip. I know I have to empty the car out and try and clean it so that there’s plenty of room in it. I won’t be bringing a lot but I know I like to have a lot of room just in case. PLus, I need to put some laundry away and I’ll have to sort through that as well as I got to make sure I have plenty of clean clothes with me on my trip.

Tamara wants to stop in Bangor on our way back from the US. I said I thought it would be a good idea to see how we feel by the time we get there. It’s been my experience that by the time you’ve travelled 7-8 hours in a car to Bangor from NY, you don’t really feel like shopping, but there have been times where the break has done me good. So I figure we can wait and see how we feel and if we’re feeling good, we can go into Petco and see what kinds of funky fish they might have.

I finally found a Canadian company that sells the Homepod. I want to buy this. It will be the perfect little music addon for the house once I get our media server on the go. I was going to use the case I bought for the new media server but the heat generated by it and the noise it makes causes me some concern. Plus, it’s a bit bulky so I may consider buying one of those small computer cases that come with the motherboard and everything inside and you just add ram & a cpu and away you go. It may work better for me. I’ll have to wait until I get back from my vacation before I start on that stuff.
