Where did the week go eh?

I mean, it’s like it wasn’t even here at all. I can’t believe that it’s Friday the 13th and half of August is already over. I mean, it’s insane! INSANITY I TELL YOU!

Looks like the weather is going to be nice today and here I am stuck in the office again. That’s ok though. I’m hoping that with today being Friday the 13th, some things will go wrong and I’ll have more things to do. Plus, I have some meetings today too so that will help pass the time.

Me and Tamara went out to Lone Star last night and man what a feast of steak I had. Man I love their food. Only thing is, the price has gone up just a bit and now it’s a little bit more expensive than I’d like it to be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a cheapskate but I also don’t like paying $50 for steak and chicken. But it was definitely worth it, I guess.

Ben called me last night and he has a copy of Doom 3 readily available for me. This is very good as I have been anticipating this game for awhile and even saw it sitting at Future Shop and contemplated dishing out the $70 to buy it. Thankfully, I’ll be able to obtain a backup copy from Ben. You never know when ID software might lose their originals and need to borrow my backup. Man, I love being so good and providing such a good free service to such a large corporation 😉

I decided to keep the wireless transmitter thingy I bought to get the music going in the kitchen. I figured that since I have no other means right now of being able to have music in both rooms, decently, I might as well go with the cheaper solution for now, until I have a better idea down the road. The sound ain’t perfect, but it will suffice for now.

Did some more driving with Tamara last night, a la Midtown Madness 2. We got some seriously nasty crashes going on. That was a lot of fun. I need to find a game where we can multiplayer, crash into each other, and maybe even shoot guns and stuff. Best of both worlds. Driving and shooting. No, I’m not sadistic but I miss the days of Death Track (a wicked game) and need to find something like that again.

*safety*

Time to go. Have a great weekend folks!
