Got home Friday night somewhat psyched. I did a really good mock-up of my control panel using three layers of corrugated cut to the exact size and put all of my existing controls on it. I found out that one of my joysticks will need an extra placer to keep it in the exact spot I want and it turns out that places like Kent’s and Home Depot don’t have what I want. I also went looking for wood and it looks like I will have to shell out about $50 for a single sheet to do the control panel. Then it’s a matter of cutting it, and making sure everything fits just right. I can’t wait. I think I might be able to cut the panel at work too. 🙂
Did a pile of shopping with the gf this weekend. I can’t count the number of times we went to Walmart. Got a bunch of new fish. In fact, we bought two more Columbian Sharks for the tank and they look nice. It was a very good addition to the tank. We also cleaned up around the house, changed the water in the tanks, and went to visit my mom and Tiny on Saturday since it was his birthday. 69 years old! Wow. I was supposed to go to Ben’s afterwards but he disappeared. I gotta find him and find out what happened. We also got mom to tape the Amazing Race since Bell doesn’t carry a real CBS station and we missed it in Tuesday. Got the tape and watched it when we got back to the house. I’m glad Mirna & Shmirna are gone. Irritating bitches. Well, the short one was admirable but her cousin is a skanky bitch. No love lost there.
Yesterday we were supposed to go to Tamara’s friends place to set up a computer but that fell through so we did some errands, had supper at The Creek which was awesome, and then headed home for yet more housework. It wasn’t so bad as once it was all done, we did some serious racing on the computer and that was a lot of fun.
One thing bad though. I dunno wtf it is, but allergies are in the air and my nose is going nuts and my eyes are itching bad. Whatever it is, it needs to go away!
