I might have my very own arcade cabinet. Yup! I found a guy locally who is willing to sell his old cabinet for $100. I go to see it tonite and if all goes well, I’ll be hauling the bitch back to the house ce soir. I so hope the cabinet is in good shape. He said the electronics in it were dead but I could care less about that since I have all my own controls, computer, and would be purchasing a screen anyway. I am VERY psyched about getting this thing and I hope it works out! Would save me a HELL of a lot of cash and labour for buying wood. I’d need to buy at least 3 sheets plus the panel wood, so each sheet is about $60 plus the panel was $50, so you’re up over $200 already plus the labour involved to cut and drill it.
Got the new air hocket table set up last night and found out that I’m not that great of a player but man, what a blast! Tamara beat me 3 out of 5 games but I didn’t care because it was awesome. I have wanted an air hockey table in my house all my life and I finally got one. I got an arcade machine coming. Frig man! What else could a geek want?
