No village to speak of

So yesterday me and Tamara were supposed to go see The Village at Crystal Palace. We had planned on going there last weekend as I had mentioned that I’d like to see that movie and we still have coupons for the theatres so it seemed like a good idea. Movie was at 7:10 but my mom had told me to come by the house and raid her garden of cucumbers and tomatoes. So, knowing we wouldn’t have time to do both, we left the coupons at home, went to her place, and found no cukes. 🙁 Tiny had pulled a bunch out but they were all yellow and gross. Tamara got some green tomatoes though. Instead of the movies, we went down to the pet store and Tamara bought a pile of new plants for the smaller tanks, and I came home and played computer. No, I didn’t work on the cabinet but trust me, it’s on my mind.

I’ve been contemplating how I plan to handle the entire video card issue for the cabinet. I need to be able to find a good video card that will output to a TV set in decent quality. I know the ATI cards do a good job but I also don’t want to spend a fortune on a card that’s going to play a lot of older style, non-3d games. I have an old All In Wonder card sitting in the server in my computer room that’s not being used, but it is REALLY old and I don’t know how it would handle some of the remade PC games. I want something that will work with old and updated games. That will be an experiment for sure.

Anyways folks I got a bunch of work to do today so I’ll leave you for now.
