I woke up this morning to Tamara’s alarm blaring in my ear. Thank God for snooze. I woke up around 3am and had to piss and did not get back to sleep very well. It sucked. I feel like shit today. I’m exhausted. My stomach hurts, and I just generally feel like shit. There. I’m done whining now.
Went out to Jungle Jim’s last night for supper and it was damn good. However Tamara has had an awful time with them as everytime she goes there, they burn her meal. Last night they burned her ribs but were very good about replacing it quickly, giving us a gift certificate, and not charging for her meal at all. That was very cool of them.
Went over to Chris’s last night as Roy wanted to visit the boys. That was kinda of cool but we didn’t stick around that long as we had other things going on as well. Got home and had to do some home stuff (clean litter & cages) and then watched the tape of The Amazing Race we had from the night before. Twins got eliminated which is ok as I am not rooting for them, although they are kind of half cute, but I’m really rooting for Chip & Kim.
I also burnt the first test DVD of the Rounded Edges reunion. I decided that for this one, I’m not doing anything special. No menus, no nothing. Just the documentary, and the reunion. Put the disc in, it starts playing, and when it’s done, it starts over again. There’s no extras or anything. I wanted it to be very basic since what’s on there is very limited. Who knows. Maybe in 10 years I’ll do a Special Edition 😉
I got email from Gary last night. Looks like the guy moved to Halifax. Don’t know why but he said that he’ll be making more regular trips to Moncton now and as soon as he gets settled, he’d be giving me a call to do the coffee thing and give me the low down on why he left Calgary. It should be interesting. I’ll prolly see if I can get him to come up for the Halloween party.
I got an email this morning from CDW and it looks like the credit for my return is FINALLY BEING ISSUED! Now they said that it can take 10 days from the day of issue for it to take affect. So let’s work this out. They sent me the RMA on August 16th and the item was shipped on the 18th, received on the 19th, and I’ll get my money back on the 19th. A MONTH LATER! I’m telling you. After this, I’m never buying from CDW again. That’s retarded.
The weekend is going to be oh so much fun. Because we threw all of that wood into the wood room, it needs to be piled. It’s a total mess and is going to be a hell of a time trying to pile all of that wood in a good fashion. I’m not looking forward to it at all. I’m also not looking forward to the fact that I need to find a better way to organize my stuff in the garage because we’ll be getting another cord and a half of wood dumped in there. That will mean that I will probably have to move the cabinet down into the basement before it’s done and give me limited amounts of room to work. *sigh* I’ll have to see about that. This whole wood for heat thing had better be worth it.
