And yet another month has passed by and before you know it, the year will be over, Christmas will be gone, 2005 will be upon us, George Bush will have assasinated John Kerry and bribed all the necessary people to win the election, and World War III will have started. Man, what a nice year to look forward to 🙂
Read today that Mount Saint Helen’s is about ready to pop. I remember as a kid seeing the ash from the explosion back in the early 80’s. Doubt we’ll see any of that ash on this end of the country although it would be pretty cool.
Did some major work on the basement this weekend. I suspect that anytime now, things will be cleaned up and we’ll have ourselves a nice kickass sitting room, and somewhat clean basement. We have a hell of a lot more room down there now. It only took us 6 months or so to make it happen but it did.
Didn’t do any work on the cabinet this weekend but I did find my needle nose pliers so I can tighten some of the wiring connections and I also bought a power bar which will work very well with the cabinet. Now I just need to fasten the back plate on (to hold the monitor a bit more secure) and then move that bitch into the basement. I’m still thinking about doing the artwork on the sides but I’m not sure whether I really want to try it or not.
*yawn*
I’ve been playing with audio files all morning. I’m trying to record a good on-hold message for our phone system at work but have had some problems that are sort of hard to explain so I won’t bother 🙂
Put up the first pieces of Halloween decorations around the house. That’s cool. The place is going to look cool.
Anyways, I’m off.
