Got home last night and decided that it was time to get the cabinet into the house. I removed the removable parts of it and fastened the back panel onto the cabinet, securing the monitor better, and then proceeded to try and bring the cabinet from our garage, up the steps into the kitchen, and down to the basement, myself. Well, I think I may have been able to do it if I had more room on the landing in the garage. I got the cabinet about halfway up the steps to the kitchen and just couldn’t move it anymore because I didn’t have room. Sure enough, Tamara showed up and helped me enough to get it into the kitchen.
We then eased it downstairs and into place in the corner where it will reside for good. Unfortunately, I accidently destroyed the contrast/brightness controls but thankfully the monitor works and me and Tamara sat down last night and played a game of Space Invaders. Man, what a kickass time!
So the cabinet is now fully installed and just requires the artwork applied. I think I am going to start on that today. Anyways, for those of you coming to the Halloween party, be sure to go downstairs and try Manarc out. It’s very cool. I’m so happy right now you have no idea.
In other news, I found a Halloween costume but haven’t picked it up yet. Tamara got hers last night but she needs to work on it as it’s not a full costume just a uniform that needs to be modded to be fully realized. Twill be cool.
Thanksgiving is this weekend. Long weekends are good 🙂
