Well, weather wise, it was kind of a crappy weekened but other than that, it wasn’t too bad. I did manage to debunk a few theories presented to me more than once.
This website has long been known to give great details about the truth behind urban legends. At a class me and Tamara are taking, I was given a sheet that showed some information about drinking Coke. About how it can eat a nail, eat a steak, be used to clean blood, clean your toilet, etc. Well, last week I decided to test this and as I suspected, it’s not true.
I put a VERY small nail in a can of Coke for a week, and supposedly it’s supposed to be eaten in less than a week. Nope. Not even a scratch on the nail. Coke is supposed to clean a dirty toilet. Dumped a can in and left it an hour and flushed (as the sheet indicates) and it didn’t clean anything.
I was happy to debunk this article as I have had it given to me more than once and I knew it was crap. MUAHAHAHAHA!
I was very disappointed this weekend about not being able to pick up a new digital camera as Walmart sold out within minutes of opening on Saturday. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Irritating though. Plus I also have not been able to snag an Audigy Drive off eBay for my sound card. I’ve wanted one of those for awhile now but everytime I go to buy one, I get it sniped away from me which pisses me off. Oh well.
It’s going to be a busy week as we have to finish getting the house ready for the weekend. Only a few little things to take care of but I need to make sure they are done before. It looks like we’re going to have a good turn out. I hope those of you who are around are coming!!!
