So I have a few things to report on today. First off, the weekend was very enlightening to me as me and Tamara had some serious conversation about life and things that happen and I really had a major breakthrough on some of the things I have been feeling for a long time. It’s so weird to see things in a different perspective. It’s all good. Yaya.
We had some trick or treaters last night. Just under 30 total which was not bad. Did some of my homework for class and went through an old suitcase of letters and stuff. Found some interesting things in there including a conversation with Tamara a LONG time ago. Very interesting.
On the bad news side, I don’t know if I mentioned this or not but Irving, who owns Times Transcript, and Metro Marquee, bought Saint John based indie paper Here, and announced that it would be replacing Metro Marquee with Here. I have not heard any official word yet but if this is the case, I may not be writing for them again. I hope that is NOT the case and I will be sending an email to my editor today to get news but I am hoping I can still do my column as I was just getting warmed up.
It’s the first of November already and I can’t believe it. Changed the clocks over the weekend and now we’re going to be moving into winter which sucks ass. It’s the part of the year I don’t like but I can say that at least I have a damn fine house and woman to keep me warm. I did a shitload of wood chopping this weekend and scared Tamara in the process. I tend to yell and scream at the wood as I chop it as it’s a great way to vent anger but I think I might have freaked Tamara out a bit but that’s ok. She needs a good scare once in awhile 😉
