Ok, I got up this morning and turned my computer on with the intention of just burning a CD for work, which of course I forgot to bring with me. I figured while the CD is burning, I’ll check my email. I got an email from an old friend of mine giving me some huge news but he’s asked me to stay hush hush on it for now, but you have no idea how hard it will be to keep my trap shut until I’m allow to talk about it. Trust me folks. For me, this could be awesome news. As soon as I am able to spill the beans, I will!
Last night me and Tamara tried very hard to get a fire going and let me tell you, we had very little luck with that. Talk about a pain. I’m sure it’s because of the wood we have but I’m going to buy one of those Northland logs and see if it helps us get a fire going. You never know.
I dug out the winter jacket this morning. It’s official. I’m getting cold so I have to take measures to stay warm and the winter jacket is just part of that. The house has been a little cooler with the cold weather so I have been seriously considering purchasing some of those electronic thermostats to use to control the temperature in the house since I know it’s going to get worse and I don’t like forgetting to turn the heat off in spots. The house ain’t that bad but I do need to wear slippers and the heat goes very well. MMMMmmmmm Heat….
My second article was published in Metro Marquee this morning. Rock on. I will continue writing for them even though they will become Here magazine soon. it should be interesting to continue that work and I hope that I can come up with enough material each week for something good.
