Relatively quiet weekend

As the title suggests, it was a quiet weekend with not much going on. I started on my special Christmas gift for the mom and grand-mom by scanning in a pile of pictures and doing some of the old reel to reel stuff she had. It was pretty neat to watch all of this old stuff that had my mom and aunt’s as kids on it. Also cool to see my grandfather on camera (he passed away 3 years ago). I also spent most of Sunday in bed. I think I got out of bed around 3 or 3:30ish. It was quite nice to be able to sit around and be lazy.

The snow hit and hit good as Saturday night was quite bad on the roads. I shovelled the drivway yesterday and that was not fun but it had to be done.

I got a letter from my dad which was way cool. For those of you unaware, my dad still lives in Edmonton, Alberta and I had not heard from him since last year so it was very good to see that he is doing well. He has no phone right now and I had not been able to contact him but sent him a letter a few weeks ago and I am glad he wrote me back so soon. It was very cool.

Looks like I am going to go to Perth-Andover this coming weekend. I need to go up there to talk to my aunt and cousins for my project. That will make for a nice little trip. It should be very cool. I’m kind of excited about it. I do hope that it doesn’t storm or the weather doesn’t get too bad as I need to get this stuff done soon.

I was very much anticipating yesterday for something else but it did not happen and I was disappointed but alas, it will happen. I really wish I could talk about it but I think what I’ll do is just stop mentining it here until I’m allowed to say something.

On that note, I think I am going to go back to work, and have fun. TTYL folks!
