It’s the day before Christmas Eve and guess what? I am still not done my Christmas shopping. Typical man I am. I only need to buy one gift and some stocking stuffers but I suspect that I will have to wait until way later in the day. I need to do some major reading for most of the day as I want to make sure I am going well on my Exchange reading. I have done ok but did not get any reading in yesterday since I spent a large part of the morning working on my virtual Exchange environment, and then spent the afternoon getting Tamara’s car to her and taking the bus home, which was actually kind of fun.
It’s weird getting up early when I don’t have to work but this reading and studying is work. There’s a lot of stuff to cover and I think I’m finally starting to get the hang of a lot of what I’ve been reading and doing. There’s a lot of specific names and titles in some of this stuff which will take me some time to learn but I am relatively sure I can get it. It does not help the fact that my eyes are sore this morning so as soon as I start reading, I hope I can go a few hours at a time.
*yawn* I do know that between tomorrow and Sunday, I won’t get much studying done as the holidays will be quite full and that’s fine. In fact, I may just designate the next 3 days as actual holidays and then go seriously hard-core for the rest of the week next week. It’s been nice to be home but I have had a lot of stuff to do. Plus it doesn’t help the fact that I tend to be very lazy.
So now, I feel like crap with my sinuses all insane like they are, so I am going to head up to Shopper’s, get me some drugs, come home, and hit the books.
