I now have a little bit of time to post something good.
For starters folks, be aware that blog entries will now likely happen more at night, instead of early in the morning since I will be off to work right away when I hit the classroom. I can’t see me posting anything during the mornings so unless it’s lunchtime or break-time, expect to read the blog entries later in the day, or if you read in the morning, you’ll likely read the previous days entry.
On that note, what a weekend. First up, we got the bulk of the fish moved downstairs but we did lose one shark and our horny molly in the process. It sucks but I really hope the rest of them are ok. The new tank looks good in the basement.
New job starts tomorrow and I was in today to get some info that really needed. I did some work preparing for tomorrow’s class which I am of course a little nervous about but after tomorrow, it should be all good. The end of this week will tell the tale on how well things go. I don’t have a relative in the class this time to let me know what the students really think of me. I’ll have to wing it this time.
I have to admit that I have been playing The Sims 2 a lot lately. Tamara got the game for me for Christmas and I have really started to get into it. Much different than the types of games I am typically used to playing but I wanted something different and this one is.
Tamara is still hurting from her allergic reaction which apparently, according to her voodoo witch doctor, is from a scent or something she has smelled recently. Interesting. Maybe my farts have finally had an adverse affect on her health. I may have to buy more Gas-X and keep those guys in business 😉
Placed the order to Rogers for the digital cable package which of course will include the PVR terminal which is going to kick some serious ass. I have wanted one of these since I heard about Tivo in the states but have not had the chance to have one in the house. I used to use the PVR functions of my TV tuner card on my PC but since I don’t have TV in the computer room, it’s been of no use. In case you are wondering, PVR is Personal Video Recorder which allows you to record shows, pause live TV, and all of that fun stuff. It’s way cool. I can’t wait for the Rogers guy to get here at the end of the month.
Anyways, me and Tamara are off to play some marbles. Have fun and wish me luck on tomorrow. I’ll have news by the end of the day I’m sure.
