Well folks, it began, today.
I started the new job and I gotta say, everyone was awesome. The staff are great. The students are great. Everything was great.
I managed to get through my first day of class without really panicking which was, to be bluntly honest, a little surpring. I always knew I would be able to pull through without trouble but there were a few spots where I was a little skeptical and I am glad that things worked out as well as they did. It’s interesting to see the different kinds of people in a class and I am glad to see what I’m working with.
The afternoon was busy as well even though I am not teaching yet. I had a bunch of other work to work on and I also had to plan for the next day.
I was surprised to hear from Norampac as they called me but I was in class so I called them back and got voicemail. I received an email looking for tech support which did not surprise me at all. That was good for a smile.
Regardless, I have a little bit of work to do tonite to prepare for the next day and I suspect that it will be like that most days, but I think all is going to go well. Woo hoo!!
