It’s my lunch hour so I am taking a moment to post an update. I need to wander back down to the Coke machine so I figured I’ll do this now while I am thinking about it.
So yesterday was a bad day. I got up, after having not slept too damn well, and got all ready to come into work and went outside to find that my driveway, that was clear the day before, had received a GIANT pile of snow blocking the end of it so neither me or Tamara could get our cars out in time to go to work. We both took cabs to work and cabs home and spent an hour after work shovelling this damn rock hard snow out of the way. Talk about VERY annoyed and mad. But, it’s done and hopefully that will be the end of that.
I installed Bubble Bobble on the MAME cabinet and it works very nicely. Me and Tamara have been playing it a bunch and I really enjoy that game. It’s very cool to be able to play it on an arcade box. I also got all of the wiring (more or less) taped up in that machine so that I don’t have to worry about things becoming unplugged. Tres good.
Friday is my last day in my current module and I think it’s going well. My students are getting it, for the most part, and I am happy to be moving onto something new. I have been studying and doing tests to get ready for my cert so hopefully I will be able to write it soon.
But for now, I’m off!
