I just had to post this.
Yesterday, I got home from work and did not realize it, but I had mail. I opened it up and was surprised to see it was a copy of a letter addressed to my former employer regarding my official complaint with the Employee Standards people regarding my bonus cheque that I was screwed out of by my old bosses. Turns out, at least according to the letter I got, I am definitely entitled, by law, to the money that they stiffed me. SO now they have a limited amount of time to reply or basically say I’m full of crap, and do more to withhold the cash from me. I at least now know that someone, with a legal stance behind them, is fighting for me and I feel a hell of a lot better about it. Should I not get the money for whatever reason, I will still feel satisfied that I didn’t just let it slide. DING!
