Sometimes it feels good to be smart. I just got off the phone helping the gf’s mom get her DVD player going. Not that it takes a rocket science to use a DVD player but some people just don’t know how to get things going and that’s all fine. So there I am, laying in the tub, having a conversation with Tamara’s mom about her DVD player. Amusing. Definitely. But, she’s fine now and is happily watching her movie.
Tonite’s the night to get the house fixed up before the big party tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll have a nice crowd since I know we’re going to have a little snow but I suspect it won’t be too bad (I hope) and we’ll have a decent turn out here.
In Star Trek news, Enterprise has finished principle photography and by all accounts from the boards, the finale sucks hard. Written by producers Brannon Braga and Rick Berman, I suspect that the spoilers are correct. I have never bashed those guys but ever since I saw the work that Manny Coto did on that show, I agree whole heartedly at those who have bashed B&B. Their writing sucks and they should stay away from Star Trek. My hope is that by the time Star Trek resurfaces on TV, those two have been pushed out of the franchise.
Anyways, I’m not sure if I’m going out or helping Tamara right now so I better figure out wtf I’m going to do.
