Ok, so I didn’t have much to say yesterday but today I at least have a few things to mention.
First off, I called my dad’s friend in Alberta and told her dad was welcome to move down here and stay here for awhile until he got settled. She said he’ll be thrilled and I guess his plan is to sell off all his stuff and then fly here. Considering the fact that dad has never flown anywhere, that should be interesting. I guess he’s planning on trying to be here for July so it will be very cool to have the old man living here in town. Very nice.
In other news, we almost lost one of our cats. Lucky, the big white kitty, somehow got outside the night before last and we didn’t notice that he was gone until last night. 🙁 We checked out the house and everywhere and no sign of him. Me and Tamara walked around the neighbourhood calling his name and rattling his treat bag but no sign of him anywhere. Then, just out of luck, we saw this white thing behind a tree in the next door neighbors lawn, and we looked and looked and eventually I noticed two green eyes and a white cat hiding under the doorstep. Tamara lured him out and we brought him home. He’s been pretty quiet since he got home and he definitely had some fur missing from a possible fight. Chloe does not like him right now as he has a different scent to him but she’ll get over it shortly I’m sure. Lucky doesn’t want to go anywhere near the door now which is a good thing. Major scare there.
In school news, I’m going to be teaching Windows 2000 Server and Network+. Both courses I have not taught before and even though N+ is dry as hell, I’m kind of looking forward to it. Server will be more challenging but I am excited about it. Lots of students to teach so I’ll be busy but it’s all good.
Regardless, it’s Wednesday night and Lost is a repeat and Survivor is on tonite so I’m going to go chow down some food, and relax.
