On my way into work this morning, I remembered something from a Michael Moore film where they mentioned that music is the soundtrack to life. This is so true. There are certain songs that no matter where I am or what I am doing, they trigger a specific memory or group of memories I have. When I hear Collective Coul, December, I think of the trip me and Chris made to Toronto. Champagne Supernova from Oasis reminds me of this dance me and Hosford went to in the valley in Nova Scotia where the valley girls lived. Uptight from Green Day reminds me of my days of living in New York. It’s interesting how so much of your life can be remembered by a simple song. Very neat.
Speaking of memories, it was an interesting bout of conversation today at work. Won’t get into many details but it was kind of funny to hear someone make a jab about someone from my past. It was pretty damn funny at the time. If you wanna know more details, you’d have to email me 😉
Bunch o work to do tonite. One of these damn chapters for Server is over 100 pages long and man what a pile of stuff to sift throughb. I’m glad we split this chapter into two days because man it would be hell trying to get it compressed into one.
Regardless, I do have to depart for now. My editor is expecting some more articles so I want to get some stuff written before 7:00 because at 7, I start doing my work type stuff and have to try and get it done so I have thew rest of my evening free. Hails folkls!
