One hour and ten minutes. ONE HOUR AND TEN MINUTES!!!! This is how long it took me to go from work, to home. Compucollege is located in the Moncton industrial park, right off of wheeler, along St. george BLVD, across from the Clarica building. Normally, whether I take the bridge or the causeway, it takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to get home. Not today. ONE HOUR AND TEN MINUTES!!!!
Why? Because of the construction going on for the new bridge. They are doing some sort of construction on our side of Coverdale Rd so they have to only let one lane go at a time, and hence, causing traffic to back up on Coverdale to the Ultramar by Pine Glen, and back up across the bridge as far as the subway underpass just after Highfield Sq, on Main St. Man what a pain in the ass. I know it’s all going to be better once we have the new bridge, but what a pain in the arse. That bridge better serve drinks and food to put up with this kind of crap.
In other news, Tamara is sick and I have begun to catch it as well. I’m not feeling too bad although my throat is sore and since I did a lot of talking today, it’s not so great. I am now totally exhausted between work and waiting in traffic. I had supper and as much as I would like to crash for an hour or so, I gotta hit the books and do more studying. I shouldn’t even be posting this as my 7pm deadline has passed but I wanted to do something for myself before getting into the books. The study materials are ok and the last batch of stuff I did I was doing good in so here’s to hoping it continues.
I was going to go see Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galazy tomorrow but as Tamara reminded me, we’re going to the auction for my mom’s dragon boat team on Wednesday so I do need the study time. HGTTG will have to wait until either this weekend or the following week. We’ll see. For now, I need another Coke and to start working, again. Have a good week folks!
