As the title says, I have news, but that will wait.
Today ended ok, but when I got home, I got a visit from the taxman and it was not good. In fact, it sucked. I was very pissy but managed to get over it. Me and Tamara went for a nice drive and man, what ncie houses are out there. WOW! We found one house, albeit big, it was damn fine. VERY sweet.
Came home and had to have a little bout with the bunny. She had some major bum issues so me being the dad, did my best to clean it up and as fun as that sounds, it wasn’t too bad. Checked the messages, and got one that, surprised me, but I’ll have to dig into that a little more. Regardless, I then got a call shortly thereafter from dad.
The story is, he still doesn’t have a definitive date on when he will be here but he did seem to be awful anxious about moving out here. He has a few things he wants to check into first but said he would call me back within 10 days and give me his final decision. If he comes, he’ll be arriving here on the long weekend of July. That’s his plan right now. He’ll know for sure by the end of the month because he has to get some details about assistance from the government for moving, and he’ll give his notice for his apartment.
I wish I had a more real answer from him but to me, it really sounds like he is totally serious about coming down so I am excited. I’m still going to have to sit back and wait and see about that but I’ll keep a little bit of faith that he will be coming down.
In other news, I made a decision that was hard, but in the best interests of Cassidy. Me and Tamara decided that we should give her away. Not because we don’t love her or anything like that, but just because she needs a better home where she can get more exercise. How’s this for luck… my aunt and here family used to have rabbits and are in fact looking for more. So, at the end of June as well, Cassidy will be moving to Perth-Andover where she’ll have a roommate and her own kickass rabbit pen where she can play, and hopefully have a hell of a lot more room and exercise than she gets here. I love the rabbit but with me and Tamara being busy and things going on, she just doesn’t get as much running around time as she deserves and now that Ginty is gone, she has no friend to play with. The end of June will see Cassidy go, but hopefully, my dad arrive. One bad thing compensated by one good thing.
The only other news is that I’m taping a wedding this weekend and hopefully it will be way better than what I had to watch last night. Courtesy of Tamara, I watched the video of Melanie’s bachelorette party which included…. a rather pathetic stripper. Ewwwww. Had it been a woman, I’d be passing out copies to all my male viewers here, but man, I’m glad I don’t have to watch much of that again. Ick. Ladies, any of you out there who get married and want a stripper, take Tamara’s advice and skip it. It sucked. If you want details, ask her. As for the bachelor party, no strippers, but there was some nice entertainment at the bar. Ya ya.
