More terror, more words

In a stunning development today, London was hit with 4 bombs, which have so far killed about 40 people. No surprise, a terrorist cell has claimed responsibility for it. Tony Blair, and other world leaders went on to fire off a bunch of words like ?We will not tolerate terrorism?, ?Terrorists are bad mmmmmkay? and ?We?re going to continue to talk about how bad terrorism is but never really get anything done because we just consistently piss other nations off by sticking our noses where it doesn?t belong?. Here?s my rant on the terrorism scene.

Ever since 9/11, everything in the world seems to have been about terrorism. Bombs going off, people killing themselves to make a point, and so much other crap. It?s amazing we all haven?t been nuked yet. What I find incredibly interesting is that with all of that US muscle and intelligence out there, we still have not ?caught? the terrorists. We still have not stopped them. Makes ya kinda wonder doesn?t it?

Is anyone actually doing anything at all? We hear all of the claims about intelligence and so forth but we never see any of the results. We hear plenty about suicide bombers but we never hear anything about what is actually being done to stop this.

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if it?s not just a big pile of garbage and that the US, and other nations involved in this are really just sitting back, and letting it happen. I know there are plenty of red neck Americans who would tell me otherwise, but show me the work. Show me how the new anti-terrorism acts and laws have made anything any better for anyone in the world. I?m sure there are plenty of people out there who would argue through the teeth that things like the Iraqi war and other activities have in fact made the terrorism in the world worse. The US just invading Iraq and making things worse has only perpetuated the terror feeling throughout the world. Who?s next? China? Japan? Canada?

I do not want to see innocent people hurt, but I think the US is in for a hell of a lot more trouble if they don?t start using their heads, and not their damn guns.

So there. I?ve had my say!
