I have some time today at lunch so I’m taking it now to do my post.
First off, I am now Network+ certified. I wrote, and passed, my exam this morning. I am however surprised as hell as to the content of the exam. Very off the wall exam with a lot of things that were nowhere near my study materials. I was very surprised to see some of the questions on there that were there but none the less, I still passed.
My next exam will be Windows XP. I have my couher so now that I have Net+ out of the way, I’m going to have to book my XP test for August some time. Not sure when. I think likely a month or so from now. I like writing those big certs on the last day of a module because I don’t have to worry about anything else. Students write their exams, I go write mine, and all is done. I’ll have to pick a good time.
Tonite, me and Tamara are going over to Mel & Dave’s to watch the wedding video. I am glad to finally be able to give this to them and I really hope they like it. We were thinking of going to a movie tomorrow afternoon. I am still interested in seeing Mr. & Mrs Smith and will definitely be going to see War of the Worlds and Fantastic Four soon.
In other news, the #Moncton reunion party will be held here, at my house, in case those of you who read this have not checked out the forum. I am hoping for a good turnout but we will have to see. If we don’t get a lot of buzz, we’ll just turn it into a regular house party and invite whomever but I suspect if enough word gets around, folks will show up. Otherwise, we’ll just hang out anyway.
For now, I’m going to go kill about 15 minutes before class starts by doing some reading, and seeing a man about a horse (like you need to know that eh?)
