It feels weird. I got up early this morning and am now done all of the work I need to do on a makeup exam. The only thing “work” related I have left is to re-read a chapter for tomorrow. I could get to liking this early thing. Maybe not too much though.
Did have a good weekend. Went to see Ben and gave him the news. He will be attending the wedding as the best man. We’ve been doing some slow planning but things are looking good. We’re going to do the ceremony at the Mapleton Park lodge which is very nice. The reception (or bigass party as I like to call it) will be at the Beausejour Curling club down on Essex street. Looks to be a big place so we should have plenty of room. I’m anxious.
We went to see Wedding Crashers last night which wasn’t too bad. Not as funny as I had hoped but still good for a laugh.
The #Moncton reunion party isn’t getting much attention but personally, I don’t care. Even if we only have a few people, we have some games and other stuff we can do to enjoy ourselves so one way or another, it should be cool.
Today, I want to work on my cabinet as it needs a little tweaking. I bought some screws to piece some of it back together as parts were falling out, etc, so I do need to get that fixed and perhaps sit down and play me some games. Twill be fun. I also would like to get started on the speakers in the kitchen. I bought some stuff to help with the wiring to make it all pretty and such but I have no idea how it will look up in the attic so I need to do some digging.
It is the first of August which is weird. Man. Summer is going by TOO fast.
