This is better

Since I have a few moments, I?ll post something a little bit more substantial than what I have been putting up recently. Let?s start with the fact that I bought some Rolling Stones tickets, BEFORE they went on sale. Contrary to what the press would have you believe, the new tickets actually went on sale on Wednesday as I bought mine Wednesday morning around 8:00am. For a concert that was sold out, it?s interesting how Ticketmaster was still selling tickets. So, regardless, I now have 2 tickets to the show that will be of course, insanity. I am looking forward to taking part in what will be a major event for the city of Moncton.

As I indicated previously, a new module starts Monday and I?m teaching Exchange once again. Nice large group to teach it to though so it should be a lot of fun. They?re doing something different this time so I think it will be interesting to see how it all plans out.

Last night we FINALLY finished getting the wood that?s been sitting in our driveway for a month, piled. It was a pain to do and let me tell you, not the most enjoyable at the end with all the bugs, but it?s now all done and I can actually park my ass in my own driveway now. This will be nice.

As I was waiting for my morning class to begin, I was speaking to Cathy who is someone I work with. She?s actually my ex?s aunt. Anyway, she told me that Scamp died. Scamp belonged to Debbie, my ex?s mom. This dog was perhaps the smartest and coolest dog I have ever known. He?s the only dog I have ever seen in my life that would go under a Christmas tree, pick out his own gift, and then unwrap it. All by himself. I was sad to hear that Scamp had passed away. I saw him not that long ago so I?m glad I got to see him before he passed on. Cathy said Debbie was quite upset and I can totally understand. Pets become part of the family and no matter what happens to them, it rips your heart out when you have to say goodbye.

The IRC party is tomorrow and the house is almost ready. Not expecting a large crowd but going through some of that old IRC video ought to be funny. I?ll have to make sure I get the VCR hooked up. Haven?t bothered hooking it up downstairs since we have the PVR. Only thing about that IRC tape is that the friggin thing is long and mostly stationary so you can?t see a lot of stuff but you can see some. We?ll have to see J

Anyways, there are other things to be done today. I should get to them.
